Hallelujah and Justin Timberlake

I was watching “Hope for Haiti” this weekend, and was mesmerized by Justin Timberlake and Charlie Sexton’s take on this song, I love the original Jeff Beck recording of this, but I’d never listened to the words in context of tragedy, and for the first time I truly understood the meaning of this song. It’s calling to the Lord “Hallelujah” in the darkest of times, after the tragedy, truly calling to him in the darkness. It’s just amazing, I highly recommend the whole album, “Hope for Haiti Now” on itunes.
