There were times, while I was growing up, that I sinned and thought, “Will God ever see past this? Will He still love me?” It really wasn’t until I was an adult that I was able to answer those questions with any level of surety.

It all comes down to the condition of the heart. if the Spirit is indeed living inside of you, you will bear the fruits of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control), and it will be consistent. It will not only be for others to see. It will also happen when no one else is looking. It will be who you are.

Sometimes it is much easier to tell “little white lies” than the truth. We may tell ourselves that these little lies are no big deal, that they aren’t hurting anyone, or that they may even help people. You know the lies I am talking about.

When I moved away to finish school, I began to do things that I knew would grieve the Holy Spirit. I remember asking myself many times why I was doing certain things. I mean, I knew better… When I repented and completely turned back to Christ, I understood that I did not have to carry that guilt anymore. He died to forgive us of the things that we have done.

Gamers have the ability to live in a different world. I know that in World of Warcraft, with a little imagination, a truly awkward and weak person can become the most requested tank on the entire server, someone living with a crippling disease could be the greatest healer in the guild, or someone that is known to be a great “Christian” can become the one that treats other players the worst, talking about things that would bring tears to God’s eyes.
