Named by Charisma Magazine as one of the "30 Emerging Voices" that will lead the church in the next decade. Ben Cerullo used his action sports background to start the youth-culture ministry, Steelroots, in 2000. The ministry was one of the first to blend action sports and Christian music to reach youth and young adults.

Under Ben’s leadership, Steelroots has grown to include several television programs, such as the flagship program Steelroots - The Show, the Christian Hip-Hop program Mixx Master's Lounge, and The Uprising - a reality-based program that brings an unconventional approach to modern day evangelism and reaches across cultural boundaries. Steelroots also includes an interactive website, www.steelroots.com, and national action sports and music events.

In 2007, Ben was redirected as God called him to reach out to the nations of the world. Ben obeyed and stepped away from the camera as spokesperson and television personality of Steelroots, and stepped into the next phase of God’s destiny for his life. Ben Cerullo Ministries was born.

Since that time, God has used Ben Cerullo Ministries to lead crusades in Africa, South America, Central America, Mexico, Asia, Europe, Canada, and the United States, reaching thousands with the gospel.

Ben Cerullo Ministries also produces a television show called Thunder Road, which is a groundbreaking reality television series that documents the ministry and life of Ben as he travels from country to country, preaching the gospel to a dying world.

Ben currently has a full schedule, traveling and ministering around the world. He enjoys spending time with his wife Jessica, and his three children, Joel, Victoria and Josiah.
